Callao (Lima) to Papeete, Tahiti

Sail away from Callao on mainland Peru, bound for Polynesia. Settle into life on board, enjoying all that the ship has to offer, as we spend four days sailing across the vast Pacific, Earth's largest ocean. Our first port is Hanga Roa on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) to gaze in awe at the famous ancient statues with huge heads, the mysterious moai, of which there are more than 1,000 on the island. Now we enjoy two more sea days as we head to Adamstown, the only settlement on the volcanic quartet of Pitcairn Islands, home to a community of 35 people who are largely descended from the 18th-century mutineers from HMS Bounty. We come next to French Polynesia: first to the ring-shaped island of Rangiroa, then Fakarava, with its incredible marine life, and finally Huahine, a sacred place that is the former home of Tahitian royalty. Our last call is Papeete, Tahiti, where we overnight.
